I've got a few 3.5" SATA HDDs to get rid of, I think it's 3x500gb and 1x320gb, all NTFS formatted

�10 to msf for the lot

I have loads of HDD I'm about to destroy. Shame to see them go to waste. They're mainly from Dell and HP servers.

There is a charitable PC reconditioning place down the road from here. I imagine they could do something with them.
Have you wiped them to your satisfaction, or is that why you say "destroy"?

Freaked me out for a moment there: I was looking at the drives to see if any were more energy efficient and the first one I picked up seemed to say 40A at 12V.

Closer inspection showed it says 2. 40A, which still seems a lot, but a damn site more reasonable than the first...
