A friend has a well established grape vine, but the grapes it produces are tiny: some of them are almost twice as big as the pip!
He's thinking about getting some seedless variety and I was wondering about grafting the one onto the other...

Anyone got any knowings on the subject?

Only theoretical. They're supposed to take pretty easily though. As always the devil is in the detail: Does he know what rootstock it's on?

A pruned it properly?

B fed it a lot ?

both can improve fruit quality, chances are it it needs some tlc

Yes, it does want that as well, but I figured it was a big enough plant that there was room for some experimenting...

iirc adding a new leader to the rootstock is possible so give it a go on a big un.
