Any idea who might sell the seeds?
They are a cross between peas and beans, texture of the pod is smooth but but runner bean shaped, tastes like peas, will add more information after supper!
Our friends ' next door neighbour was given six seeds a few years ago and has been saving their own seed.
This is in Blenheim NZ South Island

We've now found a NZ supplier, Country Trading, and that they came from Dalmatia originally.but no trace for UK suppliers.

I have grown pea beans the last couple of years , last year from saved seeds , they are a bit disapointing to be honest.

I think that's a bit rough on asparagus peas. Obviously they're not as good as asparagus or peas but vile and disgusting is an overstatement IMHO.

Vile vile vile... the only good thing was composting the plant.... and they go from edible to woody in a nano-second!

Had 'demo' from librarian so will hit the link tomorrow as nearly out of time. Chrome it appears is capable of helping out for 'links'
