has anyone tried steam distalation?

exotics ?

it is a tried and tested technique which i have done lab scale with several things but has anyone had a go at semi tech scrapheap challenge scale to make good use of a glut of things such as the above?

i have a wallpaper stripper steam generator, tubes and things, is it worth a go ?

It probably depends on how valuable is the product, but the only way to really know is to try it and see.
Although I think you have an enquiring mind sufficient that it worth a go just to find out.

Do you have records from your laboratory scale efforts?
You'll need to judge the size of the distillation vessel to match the rate of steam you can deliver.
