Beer is down to 1.003, however was loaded with sugar syrup to get the original gravity up (1.073), needs bottling now and is still slightly sweet to taste.
Is 1.003 enough sugar for a secondary ferment in the bottle or will it need priming?

Thanks

I've never gone that technical ( just put in bucket till fermantation finishes then bottle ) . I just add half a teespoon of sugar to a bottle when bottling up.

got impatient, just tried one, not enough co2 yet, but it fizzed when opening and it tastes good, expect it will only improve, almost barley wine, quite sweet for a stout and 9.4%
