difficult

2 updates
both reset my settings
the second ignores my trackball
both have tried to infantilize my arrangements
both have wasted time
i am still not sure where things are or where they might go if i send them somewhere

aint a virus
ain't me
perhaps it is those who followed bill
(i will forgive him a lot for doing the medical stuff eventually as a penance)

the reverting to doing stuff through "one drive" rather than letting me use my hardware as i have set things for(photoshop/bridge/lightroom stuff is easy to file if it is not affected by "updates")

grrrrrrr

any of our IT experts up for a remote:

strip of useless carp
strip of embedded dubious or bad stuff
harden for "update maladies"
harden to mil spec for ports, disks "core" etc
add a few choice bits n pieces hard, wobbly or software as required
tune it for image stuff

tis a very nice machine
surface pro, a big un, with bells n whistles and ribbons

decent budget, yep(last time i had a home made tuned was not inexpensive but it was good value)
what might it cost?

ps i like photo shop and this beast was better spec than the mac option

(i could have gone old styly and build another from bits i have or could find but then the camera would have shouted "hurry up muppet" and "that dingo ate my baby"at it

so the tender is

top end surface pro desk top needs its action adjusting so i can play it much better
