nice, i like bent stick technology, good thing as i have lived in it for a few years

we did consider trying a coracle so as a visit to the shops was a 4 1/2 mile walk with a coracle and a 4 mile float back and 1/2 mile walk rather than a 9 mile walk
the river did seem a bit fierce for that, so we didn't, probably wise, even on a very low flow day that river killed my chum who was only knee deep in water when he suddenly was not there

it looks symmetrical etc, so it should work ok, please be careful when testing it.
having said that i have seen an old chap using a coracle on a quite bouncy river
have fun but stay safe.

Very good. I have never made one, but round here, hazel is the frame of choice as we have lots of it but not much of the right sort of willow. As Dpack says, go careful when testing. From what I have seen they are very good and will cope with a lot of things, but you need to be wary of getting your balance wrong as you can go over.

Yeah thanks. This is the second one we made. The first, a year or two back was a heroic failure, it was too round on the bottom and was very tippy we've corrected those faults this time.
We have had it out and its pretty stable and since the video was made we now have life jackets. We plan to make another and do a river drift to the sea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFXPqm2fSnk.
