I am writing in October 2024

I discovered this forum about a year ago while searching for other people in the UK with an interest in non standard beekeeping (treatment free, unusual hives etc). The old biobees forum stopped working years ago and if you stick your head up on conventional beekeeping forums, you get a lot of abuse.

I haven't seen any activity here though. But it's a little difficult to tell what's been posted recently, because I can't find a "show recent posts" option, and messages don't show what year they were posted.

So, any other beekeepers active here?

Unfortunately not much activity over the whole site nowadays, you never know there might be some active beekeepers on here, show yourselves whoever you are

We have one colony at the moment that are more or less allowed to get on with it by themselves. They are in a conventional hive and we tend to go for conventional techniques, but will not give abuse to those that don't. Some I don't agree with, but am willing to discuss in a sensible manner.
