Looks like it to me, and yes they are edible. Of course you know all the caveats. They are very cute.

I agree it looks like it, but wouldn't eat it unless you are 100% sure.

one of the more reliable to ID
i would eat them,
before
i fed them to others
first trial to human will let you know if your and our ID is correct, probably it is, not much else looks like that
