I'll be reviewing "Preservered" by Nick sandlar and Johnny Acton with a foreword by Hugh.
This has sections on:

Quote:
drying, salting, smoking, oickling, reserving in suger and alcohol, sausages and salami, infused oils and vinigars, fermenting, bottling and canning, air exclusion, freezing and over 50 delicious recipes

In fact there is so much in it, it wil be hard to know where to start reviewing

I have just started doing the Beef Jerkey, I have a South African friend who loves Biltong coming round.

I have not actually had time to start a review of the book yet, so authorship is still up for grabs if you feel inspired? I am a bit stuck on how to approach reviewing such a comprehensive book.

I will also be building the dryer!

It would be interesting to have both points of view.

Perhaps a Downsizer.net book club?

(It'll be even more interesting when we have some sorted out computers so I can get articles up without it taking four days ).

Eventually - I've done a review and sent it to Bugs - it should be up in the next couple of days.

Well done. I have been swamped, have not even managed to do the latest requested revisions on the article I do have pending
