Im sure evryone out in Portugal, will be there to help in a lot of ways. Sophie was the lady who we found Fontainhas though, without her web site & directions etc... we would never have found the most..... well Sophie's been there she know's what it's like

So ..... getting back on topic Can we come up with a suitable name for this superb new forum? May I put forward as my suggestion: DOWNSIZING ABROAD I beleive that this should make it clear to fellow members which are already living abroad and also those which are contemplating it that this might be the place to post "foreign related" posts and questions. Any other suggestions folks????? S

Hi everyone! I'm all on my tod here in Italy (as far as DS company is concerned) and sometimes feel a bit "foreign" on the main Downsizer site, but we're all foreign here! Been out in Italy for 20 years now, Italian OH, 3 bilingual children aged 17, 11 and 6 and a miserably small garden unfit for any DS purpose, but we're working on a move.....

He's not Boss he's Lord and Master!! Would it be helpful if everyone gave a brief bit about themselves, how long they've been abroad for, what made them go, how they got the opportunity, would they ever consider returning, and anything else of interest?
