Or perhaps there's a branch of one of those pet supermarkets - but I'm not sure they'd have something so specialist. Unless the bulb can be substituted with the type you use in heat lamps for humans, which seems unlikely.
Does it have to be London? What's wrong with mail order (apart from the fact it might be broken before it gets to you )?

I've don't know what these bulbs look like, but are they the same as the ones used in catering to keep food warm, in which case any good catering supplier might be able to help

Thanks....managed to find some at the local vets. We had a rather short notice requirement for some when our initial supplier let us down, and half a dozen chicks appeared overnight in the incubator!
