It seems there are two sorts of people - those who live in Galway and those who want to.

You see the lengths people go to to stay in Galway!!!

Yup!! Only for 1 day though, and we have to drive up from Cork and get back again. We had booked the accommodation in Macroom west of Cork before all your comments but after what you have said we must at least see Galway for a few hours ( not to mention a lot of Ireland on the way and back) so its early out of bed that day and late back - it's all your fault, you know!

It will be worth it!
It's not a great drive though - roads here are scary!!
But it's as well to see as many places - the character is so very different!

I too have just found the dream of living in Ireland.

What is it like finding a job for someone kinda unskilled??? (I do have skills but they are too obscure to find jobs with )

Cheers guys!!!

Hi Voodoo Veg,

If you speak any foreign language (french, italian, spanish and so on) .. it's quite easy to find a job in a call centre ...

It's not a great job ... but it pays the bill ..

check out www.recruitireland.ie or www.irishjobs.ie or www.loadzajobs.ie

Good luck ..
Camile
