i know the last post was sep but hey, galway is a very big county, daughter is renting just outside the city at E1000 a month, just a 4 bed house, the one next door sold for E460.000, same house in roscommon about E200.000, big diff.
takes me about 45 mins to get to galway (on a good day) lol.
i was given some land to build so couldnt go wrong, would have chosen a bit nearer the coast but cant have it all, not cheap to live here but as said before no council charge and no water rates, been here nearly 5 yrs now and it does take time to settle in, but wouldn't change it now, well apart from the weather...... |
