im going to cook it now 1pm, can it be reheated tonight at about 7ish to serve. as its got pre cooked meat in???

I usually have leftovers from corned beef hash, and haven't yet died from reheating them. I don't think it is as nice reheated, though. Could you prepare the potatoes/onions now and then finish the cooking this evening?

not sure about the reheating. would of thought it would be fine if done throughly.

I haven't made corned beef hash in ages - is yummy

The E.H.O. say you should only leave things to cool down for 90mins, then put away in a fridge. Reason being bacteria multiply between 5 and 63 oC.
Everthing depends on the individuals immune system and what levels of bacteria they've been subjected to in there lives.
I personally think that it would be fine. It would be a good idea to put it back in the fridge during the afternoon but if its to late nevermind.
As for reheating stuff, as long as you get the food below 5 oC in 90 mins and reheat over 63 oC theres no reason why you shouldn't reheat as many times as you like. But its best not to too many times to avoid the risk.
Saying that I would only reheat rice once. Due to being quite highly contaminated with bacteria after being in the paddy field, then dried hard in the sun.
I hope this makes things a little clearer on bacteria.
