Now that's a tasteful idea. Will check it out.
Thanks

How about getting it pyrographed onto a small oak plaque - you know burnt in with a thingy a bit like a soldering iron.

I like the slate idea, copper would be nice too. I'll have a hunt when I get the time.

would a small brass plaque be too expensive
those structures will last ages and it would be rather in keeping with the quality of the buildings
some sort shouldnt be too costly i recon for a name and contact details

What about something like copper, easy to stamp/engrave and will age nicely with the structure?

That's why I like the idea of copper. Deffo slate or coper.

Where's Blacksmith, he could knock up some copper ones couldn't he? Be nice to have an individual oone for each project with the date of completion embossed on it too.

Copper may leave a green streak down the wall.

Not if it's under the dripline, i.e. doesn't get wet.

Thanks Guys & Gals.

Love the idea of individual labels, will have to chase Blacksmith!

Copper is OK on Oak, its the other metals that leave nasty black marks.

How about an engraved plate ? Only sort of lettering I do is with "stamps" and it is very difficult to get a good result.
Small cast plaques, I used to get them when i exhibited at steam rallies ?
( Cue exhibited jokes )

Thanks Dave.

Frustrating, no reply yet..................I emailed the Snowdonia Slate co. on Weds!

As a matter of interest, how long are people to wait for a reply in this sort of situ? Am I being too impatient??

Cheers
