Anyone here done it? Just read a book about a bloke who hunts for the pot with a Harris Hawk - seems a very efficient way of filling his freezer.

Got a man who keeps promising he'll be doing some rabbit controls with his Harris hawks on my patch.

I`d give Alan Stewart(sp) a bell, Tayside Police WLO in Dundee. I don`t think thats on, but hey he`s the expert.

I went to Thame Show last week and there was a demonstration given by a guy with a spaniel quartering the ground in front of him with a Harris Hawk following, flying from one loudspeaker to the next until a 'rabbit' was flushed and the Hawk caught it.
Very impressive and must be great fun to do properly.
