Any shotgunners fed up with picking lead pellets out of their game should have a look at Season Shot - Ammo with flavour

"Season Shot is made of tightly packed seasoning bound by a fully biodegradable food product. The seasoning is actually injected into the bird on impact seasoning the meat from the inside out. When the bird is cooked the seasoning pellets melt into the meat spreading the flavor to the entire bird. Forget worrying about shot breaking your teeth and start wondering about which flavor shot to use!"

Available in Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic, Teriyaki and Honey Mustard.

You mean it's just a cruel hoax ? But I've just worked through a box load of Eley Supreme Game and replaced all the shot with sage and onion stuffing

the way the website is set up, it looks serious, but only time will tell I suppose. Who knows, may be one of those daft ideas that actually works, may be complete phooey, but I'd be fascinated to see if it actually does work

IMHO if you shoot anything animate with anything other than the designated shot(lead/TM/bismuth/hevi/steel etc) you should be shot with it to test it`s lethality.

I would hope that any new ammunition gets tested for effectiveness before it goes on the market, have no idea what the regulations about such things are though

That's my conclusion and why I've not posted a rant about the fact the site doesn't mention anything to to with the ballistic performance of the shot and if it's up to the job of humanely killing.

i vote for windup
anything as low density as spices will not have a good kinetic energy to size ratio and therefore the air resistance will cost range big style
chick peas survive a 12g shot but would not be lethal unless you are alergic or up so close as dinner is hot mince
seasoning should be an art not a random matter of how much shot lands
i rest my case (bipod )
