I will do a vid anyway, and keep it on file so when your ready it's there. Dont ask me how I will upload it ,you will all have to help there

With the exception of trying to maintain control over the file, I'm not sure there's much to be gained by streaming. Even then it's fairly easy for people to use "capture" programs or hacks to grab it. The main disadvantage of streaming a file, is that each time someone wants to view it again, they use more of your bandwidth.

A five minute clip, properly encoded would generally be about 15 - 25 megabytes - which equates to quite a lot of bandwidth for the site

I run a website that makes use of video clips. I'd be willing to host the file on my site and email one of the mods with the url, so that it could be directly linked from here. If the original file is quite large, I'd be happy to reencode. I wouldn't bother streaming the file though, it'd only be available for download.

Am afraid I can't make this offer for any/all subsequent video clips. I receive my webspace/bandwidth free from a mate who runs a web hosting company and wouldn't want to take the proverbial. However I'm particularly interested in this topic, and would like to help out if poss.

Thanks for the offer. Seems to me like a way for us to dip a toe in the water then decide where we want to go.
