What does it mean exactly when the ingredients list states "whole egg" (it was on the side of some organic salad cream)?

Sorry if this is basic but I don't know and I think I ought to.

Doesn't it mean the yolk and the white?

That would make sense but technically that runny wet egg stuff is the yolk and the white isn't it?

yup whole egg is everything within the shell, not just whites or yolk!
