Cherries in season?

What would you expect? The BBC is not only run but staffed by people who think 'country' means either horse-riding types, or that twangy American music about divorces and your dog dying; and that food appears rather than being grown.

Got to say the missus bought an Essex grown aubergine from Waitrose or Somerfield in very early summer, could well be May. It was just pap.
