Ingredients
800g young turnips, peeled and diced
1tbsp caster sugar
70g butter
3tbsp white wine vinegar
1tbsp flour
250ml hot chicken stock
S&P
Recipe
Melt sugar and butter together in a pan, allow to caramelize a bit.
Add turnip, stir and cook for about 10 minutes.
Add vinegar, S&P and flour.
Stir gently then gradually add the stock.
Cook until turnip is tender.
Comments
You can use Marigold stock if you're feeding veggies.
