We have a lot of material on the front page that would look better with photos, if anyone has the time would they mind looking through articles and glossary entries to see if they could supply relevant images?

I'll have a look through some of mine tomorrow. I think I've got some landscapes which might work for the logo as well.

The two articles I've done so far don't really lend themselves to photos. The next ones I have in the pipeline should be illustrated though.

I'd beg to differ, even a photo of a school text book in a home environment would be good.

I think all articles work better if broken up with a picture.

I find a whole page of text looks a bit intimidating on screen.

How do we send photos to the site? - or should we just email them to you. What file size are you looking for?

Images can be email or attached to a post, size is not much of an issue byte wise, but for formating purposes 500 pixel width is about the maximum we want.

Basically we have to display OK on a 800 width screen, and we have borders either size which are currently a bit less than 150 each, but we should allow scope for change.

Don't worry Mrs D, you can send them to one of us and we can always amend them.

I feel the twindges of a basic pic artcile comming on as it always help to send smaller pics as it takes less time for people to download them. There are quite a few packages around to do this...

Well I am actually artistic, I've got an O level in art and sociology and I'm left handed . I just happen to work as a bit of a techie.

I'm more than happy to help sort out pics for the site, just let me know.

I think Treacodactyl's reply was aimed a - Mrs D is me, usually.

I can get mmy own pictures, when I have some suitable.
However, I would point out that a picture of a school textbook in an article about Home Education is totally against the point.
