We just extracted our first ever lot of honey! It was nowhere near as messy a process as we feared and the honey we got is lovely golden runny honey. It tastes like heaven and for ppl who got into beek'ing for reasons other than honey - it has been a wonderful bonus!

So chuffed with them. This beek'ing business is FAB!

(Am picking up my first gross of jars on Thursday and going to design our own labels - then we can start supplying the huge list of ppl who have asked for some!) Wa hey!

Well I have never had the pleasure of extracting OSR honey (yet!) We *think* this is mainly Hawthorn honey as our bees went mad for our Hawthorn trees when they were in flower.

Funny thing tho... in one Ted Hooper book it says Hawthorn honey is the nectar of the God and in another it says it is crap. What you gonna do?
