I have never eaten flounder - can I swap some of Lord M's pheasants for a couple?

Found the site.
My only experience of Flounder are those i have caught by accident in the River. Are they as good eating as estuary fish? If so i'll take one next season.
Cheers

I spoke to my fishmonger about Flounder and he was disgusted at the thought of stocking it, he said that it stinks and he thought it was crap to eat too...

Like most bottom feeders -- it depends where they come from.
Clean estuarial waters are quite rare -- but we have good flatties
up here - very tasty

Not Necessary
Just don't buy flounder from the Thame or thereabouts!
Try them when you are in Devon

It would have been a bit extreme to move house in order to get supplies of flounder IMHO
