good man bk, sorry, didn't realise you were a licenced charter skipper. you are right about the approach too, fueled by beer on a friday night, wont go in guns blazing again [ having seen the end of butch cassidy yesterday, should know thats not a good idea!]
wanted to fish yesterday too but thought better of it when i heard the first thunderclap. as you say, carbon fibre is good for creating upward streamers, wish we had kept our fibreglass rods now.
went & picked a bag of samphire instead, very important to educate people when picking not to up root the plant, just to cut some off, been picking the same bed for 10 years now & its spread to twice the size. |
