It's official, I am now a goat-keeper. I picked up the two nannies on the right last night, about 3 months old.

Congratulations - they look wonderful! I take in abandoned goats and try to find homes for them, but two billies seem to be part of the fixtures and fittings now. Good luck with the nannies - are you hoping to milk eventually?

I do like goats, we haven't got room for them. I keep trying to persuade my MIL to keep a couple but she doesn't seem keen for some reason.

We had tried curried goat once from the place in Handsworth that HFW went to on his travels. Twas not bad but !!!!!

But what? You said it was not bad. We have goat (from out own animals) about once a fortnight & its lovely.

I tried it but i am an hypocrit about eating summat as nice as a goat, although i like pigs and everyknow and again i submit to a bacon sarnie.

The wife's got a yearning for some, they are lovely, might try some next year. They'll be OK in with sheep won't they?
