Blimey - saw this on BBC News https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/5315904.stm

I guess it's true - where there's muck there's brass... (what is that in Welsh I wonder?)

Are you aware of what Gervese did to his kitchen fireplace?

I think I'll leave that one to him or MJ - they'll get all the details right. Well, Gervese will try and MJ will correct him, but you get the idea.

I thought they used cow poo for that?

But I digress. Who's got time to collect sheep poo? We collect a couple of sacks full a year to make jollop, but otherwise it just makes a good fertiliser for the fields where the sheep live. Can't really see the point, myself.

We did, we did - the remainder of which now has two Action Men slowly sinking into it

When are you next in Aber by the way - are we doing lunch?

Well, my terrier likes to pick bits up and run off with it.. I'm wondering if I could train him to retrieve enough pieces... like a truffle dog only, um... well, a bit different!

but if there's a market for it....

Our Jack Russell does that too - well, any poo from any rear end will do for him. He does look particularly funny with a large lump of sheep poo in his mouth though - a sort of canine Winston Churchill with cigar!

Pehaps we could train a pack of 'em...?

Is that aimed at me, m'dear? I've been thinking about Aber for a while: haven't been for ages, but maybe I should.

Of course it's aimed at you! Just let me know when you're likely to be coming in some time and we'll do lunch. You could always combine it with a visit to the National Library or the Farmer's Co-op...
