Good news, one installed floor, and loo

Bad news, I have been put on notice that the gravy train that has enabled me to devote myself to this site almost full time is due to expire So it's either get some web design work or something, or pretty soon job hunting

I thought you were set working from home for good. What's changed?

Thinking about it I tend to have a bit of a strange life, certainly the Tax people don't understand. Last year I had 8 months off and started a 8 week contract about 6 months ago. I'm getting to the point where I need to decide to stay working or resign an try and make a go at smallholding etc. Sounds easy but I've not turned down the offer of a well paid job to do nothing before.

It has been viable because of an old support contract, which has lasted incredibly well, but nothing lasts forever.

Well good luck with the work, I think there are plenty of people to do the leg work. Will you be available for consulting?

Good luck with it. At least you've got a thriving website to show to people.

Good luck! My ex-OH (Ah, it feels so good to be able to put the Ex bit! ) just about survived financially for ages on historical support work and the occasional one off job.

Hope you find a peach to keep you happy and comfortable.

No chance In fact I am just going to make a 20 mile round journey to pick up a m8, because one of my taps is sligthtely loose, and despite assorted tools I lack the dexterity to reach to tighten it

But I need it done now, because a sink unit I want to put in, will make the space even more confined.

Seriously Good luck and the work on setting this up should look good on the old CV.
