...not one

I assume its the trees having their 4-year cycle shut down for a season? Fin and I took down one of the really old ones back in March - that wouldn't have affected anything would it?

we are having a rubbish tree fruit year - there are barely any apples, only a handful of plums etc.

Its the same for everyone locally - so I assume it is down the the weird spring weather - we had very hot followed by wintery just at the blossom time. - So I would see how everyone else in your area is doing - maybe the same problems for you.

Odd though, we went to Rosemoor yesterday and all their trees were laden. Maybe they are just in a very advantageous spot.

Not a single damson, plum, greengage or sloe here, and I have quite a lot of fruit trees - bad weather after blossom time, when the fruits were setting. There was a lot of blossom, but nothing came of it.

We had loads of sloes on the bushed very early this year, then they all disappeared, now coming back in much smaller numbers than usual.

My theory is that it was a late frost. We had a coupe that didn't seem to last until dawn, but burnt potato foliage that was under fleece.

Our crop? Way better than M-J's, we've got at least three!!!

No plums, but defo got damson. One crab apple nothing, the other bulging. Some apples trees nothing, others only slight less than last year...weird ol' weather I think.
