We appear to have bees eating their way out of the expanding foam that is holding our front door in place . So far three have dug their way out, usually in the evening. There's one chewing now.

I have to admit we killed the first one not knowing what it was but the second one was flying round the room last night and I reckon it was probably a mining bee.

Am I likely to have a load of them? Suggestions please as I really don't want a house full of bees even if they are useful pollinators. Should I just let them get out and then try to usher them outside? Are they likely to try and get back to the nest site?

I'm an ignoramus when it comes to species other than Apis Melifera.
I don't think the smaller species like the miners & masons have large colonies.
If it was me I would live with them & repair the damage when they finally vacate but I'm a sucker like that.
