Just decided to update my avatar and can't do it for some reason. Can't remember what I did last time to make it fit Help please

I use photobucket, download the pic from my laptop to the site then adjust the size to fit and copy and paste a link to it in the appropriate box in the profile section on here. https://photobucket.com/

Make a new copy of it and crop/resize it with the image editing software of your choice. Make sure it's no bigger than 170px by 170px and no larger than 21kb (save it and then look at its properties to double check). Then upload!

That was murder but thanks everyone. Will have to keep changing it until I get it into my dumbhead
