Living in Westerness DOES have its moments.

Thanks to those in charge for letting most of us survive 2010.

May there be no need to change NOR-WAY to NO-WAY in 2011

I went over the Alps...on a Magic bus...at night...with a driver who was lost...and had never driven that road before. It was when I realised the 'stars' twinkling I could see were actually the lights from villages a LONG WAY below, that I started to really get spooked. There were a couple of Catholic girls on their knees in the aisle of the coach with their rosarys out so it wasn't just me. The watch I was wearing stopped and never worked again...

Quite overshadowed my whole trip really, I was so glad when we came back through Austria I was in tears. That and that the ex and I were so ill with something picked up in Greece, that fellow travellers wanted me to take him to hospital in Germany....A most MEMORABLE trip for all the wrong reasons!

Kate

All you need are some passing places - we need a new road, one of these days the car is going to be sat in the middle with the wheels spinning. It's on the listr to be resurfaced but the lorries are packing it down and this weather doesn't help.
