The weather being still fairly mild down here, I'm still finding a good range of mushrooms. Field blewits are still fruiting like there's no tomorrow, and I'm also finding oyster mushrooms and some Agaricus (A. augustus would you believe, in December!).

I'm also gathering plenty of sorrel at the moment, as well as cow parsley, ground elder and common mallow.

Cab wil you give me a list of wild plants that should be in the glossary? I don't mind doing the legwork to do the entries

Gosh. Give me an idea of how many you want and I'll give you a list. 10 edible species? 20? 50? 100? Do you want to include fungi too?

As many as you can, I want us to be a complete (as complete as anything can ever be) resource for people interested in these sort of things, I know it'll take time but if a job's worth doing...

Hmmm... Let me mull it over.

Completeness is going to be -hard-. There are so damned many wild things that can be eaten. I tried to list the mushrooms I've picked and eaten once and lost my way at 120. That was years ago, it's now WAY in the hundreds.

I can start with a list of common edible plants, I guess.
