I've looked at the destructions and (I think) it says no sewing but that confuses me because it says you have to do 2 of the triangle patterns, am I just being silly?

I havent read the pattern in detail, but it would appear that the first triangle is made then the second one is made attaching to the first where you started. I could be wrong, but that is how it seems.

The instructions contain charts. The scarf is knitted in one piece. No sewing or grafting.

Is what the pattern blurb says.
It's lovely.

Also looks as though the point has to be done in one piece, from the photo, as the pattern doesn't split down the middle.

Looking at the little diagram with the two arrows pointing out from the centre of the long straight edge, I would say that it's made by increasing at the beginning middle and end of each or every other row, with the chart being repeated on each side of the centre line.
