I picked up some cheap bananas some weeks ago and have just racked about 2.5 gallons of banana wine into demijons, looks like it will take a while to clear but tastes pretty good.
My last large batch of banana wine lasted probably about 15 years and was still improving
A resolution for next year is to get back into some decent batches of Country wines.
We also at the moment have some grapes fermenting, though I think we have a stuck batch of white grapes

Haven't made any wine for ages. We've done some Beech Leaf Noyau and Creme de Mures this year. I should get organised and make some of Gil's nettle wine next spring.

Finally managed to get back into making wine this year with a couple of gallons of blackberry.

Several gallons of mead is also on the go and I could do with making some more but it seems to take ages to finish fermenting.

Both well, busy doing not much in a quiet corner of the country. You? Got your veg garden sorted yet?

Welcome back TD

Woke up this morning and our white grapes are bubbling away as if just started, very odd, they had been dead for a week, opened the barrel yesterday and it looked active though, resealed and no bubbles though until this morning.
So does not fit with a poor seal, and why so active now?
