Really suprised that we didn't have a thread on this subject. A government U turn on targets. Seems after switching to gas for power stations they've not done anything else. Should we not pushing our energies in to make the powers that be take this morre seriously?

The gas trick was a very convenient cheat and to my limited knowledge disgracefully short termist.
Closed coal mines subside and cannot be reopened, thus a fossil fuel reserve has in effect been squandered.
