I cannot wait till the season opens keep looking and claenin my gun and the dogs go mad when i get my Game bag out to check if nets and stuff are sorted!! Any one else getting fed up with the wait?

What's the position on falconry? When I did my 'falconry day' we took an out of season pheasant, but I don't see how that could have been prevented.

I suppose it would depend on who would have caught you on the day if you were to catch one out of season. But as you say you cannot tell your bird When you fly off dont catch anything!! Also if you have a Lure bound bird they tend to not bother just looking for you with the lure and food on it so why Hunt? But I have had many a bird spot a Crow or a Bunny and nail it..in season of course!!

out of interest, when is hunting season? and is it different for certain species? can you shoot certain species all year? thanks
