We also buy the white meat birds mentioned by Green Rosie. From a local small shop they are 80 cents for one-day olds. At the moment we have 12. Big and tasty  |

One of our geese has been laying since mid September this year. We get an egg every other day. Last year she started laying 2nd of January. |

Not to worry, I'll work something out over here. I've found 30m 1" weld mesh for just over �40. Seems like an OK price.

| I get the organic strong white from Waitrose. About 90 pence pr kg. Sometimes they do a good deal on two bags which gets the price down to 65-70 pence pr kg. Good price for organic I think. |
