Soups would be a good way of using a decent sized pile.
I really enjoy breaking up the flowers and sprinkling on salads along with calendula petals when I'm feeling posh. |

Fresh - Leeks, cabbages, turnip top, a few beetroot (voles keep scoffing them from under, leaving just the leaves) and lots of lovely foraged things
Stored - the last potatoes, a few marrows, plenty ... |

May to November? Went in as fairly decently rooted plants, so got away fairly quickly. |

Beautiful crop of leaves but no root to speak of. Where may I have gone wrong?
Doubtful it would be a lack of sun or water. Wondering if a too rich soil might be to blame? |
