If I make it by hand it can take a wee while as you have to mix and then knock back etc. I'm not exactly the fastest though. I make a lot by hand but I do admit to using the breadmaker quite a lot too ... |

Gil - yes thats how I sterilise most of my stuff for homebrew or jam - I can do 'bulk', its handsfree and unpolluting (excepting electricity to power cooker).
