You can cure them in a salt mix and then grate them onto salads etc.

I took mine to 85 deg C for 3 minutes then cooled to 37 deg C before adding culture.
I still wish I could find the yoghurt article/recipe about different temperatures providing different outcomes. ... |

I make it every week or so in my Instant Pot. I strain a lot of it to about 25-30% of its original weight and add herbs/garlic etc. It's great.I also use it without the herbs etc in cheesecake.

Don't forget that an effective solution may kill plants for a long time and leach to affect surrounding areas. I'm far happier using a weed membrane under slabs.

If they are capable of heading light a hedge has to be under 2 metres high. I guess the onus is on you to show that your row of trees is sited where it won't shade any neighbours land:
