The first one looks like a cep, the rest a bit suspect...did you taste them?

I agree, they were picked by some of my parent's friends down in Spain, a tad over-zealous methinks!

Could be red-cracking bolete, especially with the yellow pores turning blue.

Bay boletes a bit later in my experience, say mid-late August into October?

I really wouldn't be so sure, we had something similar growing near us until. a couple of weeks ago and they didn't look like velvet shanks to me. Underside had decurrent gills, like oysters.
