Are you saying strip the turf, then fork in compost, then potatoes then manure?

No old tyres but am sure I could go scrounging... was thinking about that alright!

This may seem like a really lazy question but DH is refusing to dig a plot for potatoes - training for triathlons and has a dodgy back that he doesn't want to risk damaging right now - and with 3 litt ...
