the pumpkins are going great but does taking the leaves off make any difference? we were told that it helps as it focuses all the plants energy into the growth of the fruit. |

jam! havent bought a jar since last year and i've still got one left to see me through until the brambles ripen. i've also got a freezer full of p.s.b and a boatload of onions to get through. |

i was down at the farmers market on saturday and there was one stall selling free range chickens for between �15 and �25 each (is this normal?) they did not look as good as that one. |
