I have felted a couple of things in the machine but I find I get nasty creases - does turning things inside out prevent this?

I think they are lovely and would buy them for their woodeness (if you see what I mean) and so would love then simply waxed or polished but not painted.

I have heard that the RSPCA have stopped taking in 'unwanted' pets and will only take in animals which are part of a prosecution.

Or record a commentary as you work - discussing what you are doing and why as you do it?
Could you ask a nice person to take photographs of you working and ...
