Due to a not too small sum I parted company with at the GCT fair, for a new bit of gear (details soon) I managed to secure Christmas lunch from the centre of a xxx acre field.

It may well be the outer comestible in a 3-4 bird roast

How do you get the geese to feed so happily with you and the dog there???

Looks like if you turned round you could have had another 3 or 4!!

Lovely photo K n G!
I asked my youngest to save me the rabbit skins from the last couple of nights lamping and on Sunday he bought me a bag with 70 odd skins. They're in the freezer at the mo, I'll get around to tanning them sometime in the next couple of weeks and then make them up into mittens (very useful on a quad in the winter) and hats.
