sorry, just seen response, thank you for the welcome, i hope you are right & that bunnykiller just needs putting on the right track although the handle "bunnykiller" does slightly suggest someone who goes out & kills bunnies for a laugh, doesn't it set any alarm bells ringing with you ? or is it just me ?

i had a similar problem posting on another forum with someone who called themself " mass murderer"

looking at the boat in the photo it looks like an angling boat not a commercial boat due to the lack of ironmongory on the stern or gunnells. It is obviously a boat with power as defined under current regulations
However it is still illegal to sell fish for profit if your boat is not registered. By that I mean a boat registered and identified with numbers on the side and the boats port identifying numbers and boats name clearly shown.
It is illegal to sell fish for profit even when caught on a licenced boat if the person selling the catch is not the person to whom the licence is issued. Hope some of the above information is of use

We had this discussion when they joined. It's just a name, a bit like the fact I'm not actually a prehistoric chicken. Well, not unless it's a full moon. Aaarrrrrrrkkkkk!

A Reply before its Too late!! for what??? it is a registered fishing vessel and all the rellevent taxes were payed and the person putting the fish on the market was the boat and licence holder

I am a serious angler and make sure that all undersize fish are returned safetly and all over 10lb which i am sure u are aware are the breeders are also returned ..... but i am sure i am not the only person to ever make a little profit from his/her hobby when they can, especially when fishing tackle is at a premium as it is ... so there it is ....happy now???

As for my name Bunnykiller, well lets see another hobby of mine is rabbiting so u see its just a kind of play on words and didnt think that someone would actually come on here putting me down as some kind of jerk over it ... when i joined this forum i was given a warm welcome by all the regular posters and not one suggested that my bunnykiller handle as u called it reflected on me being someone capable of being a mass murderer or a little simple in the head ... ... ... sounds like u need to take a chill pill and calm down some before putting others down and threatening them with police, defra blah blah

peace

OOoh as a kind of ps i would just like to point out b4 u report me to some governing body protecting the butchers that i DO NOT sell any rabbits i catch, i hunt for the pot and to keep the freezer stocked to a nice level and any surplus bunnys are given to neighbours !!!
Also nice to see u have copied details of my profile ready for the big bust ( i didnt for a moment think u were gonna start sending me e-cards for xmas birthday etc!) but considering u already owned up to having problems posting on another site with some mass murderer fella then i kind of think u get a kick out of antagonising other forum users and thats why u have ommited ur details from ur profile!!! Fact: do i seem so stupid that if i was into some sort of illegal fish smuggling operation or anything illegal i would put any details at all in my profile??? the answer is No ...

I rest my case

chill pill taken bunnykiller, toys back in the pram now.

glad you are the licence holder, there are too many people out there selling black market fish, glad you are not one of them.

fair play if you want to make some dosh back to cover expenses, its not the cheapest of pursuits. cant profit meself, as i would get thrown out of the national federation of sea anglers, but there you go.

hadnt really copied your details, but will send you e cards for christmas

didnt fill my details in on profile as i missed that bit when registering.

in all, sorry for barking up the wrong tree & i'm glad i was wrong about you.

I know it raised by eyebrows when you joined Until someone posts a few times, it is hard to tell the amusing play on words, from the forum "troll".

only joking about the "mass murderer" forum name.

fishing the chesil at moment, 6 mackerell kept, 4 little ones returned ( without touching them, as a mackerell touched with bare hands will die, just shake them off the hook into the surf) & a garfish.

how bout you guys, got out this weekend or waiting for the grockles to go home ?

Ok apology accepted but for future maybe just asking a few probing questions rather that going on a full frontal assault will invoke less anger from them on the recieving end... cant deny i was a little pi**ed off last night with the comments ....but all is done and dusted ...so cool
well we have the Torbay festival fishing competition for 9 days so i guess i will be doing lots of fishing this week its started friday so there is plenty of time to try and win a nice new rod ...havn't been out as yet as sat morn was a s.easterly blowing so impossible to fish here and today was thundering and lightening and with my carbon fibre rods i didn't fancy being a human light bulb!!!

good man bk, sorry, didn't realise you were a licenced charter skipper. you are right about the approach too, fueled by beer on a friday night, wont go in guns blazing again [ having seen the end of butch cassidy yesterday, should know thats not a good idea!]

wanted to fish yesterday too but thought better of it when i heard the first thunderclap. as you say, carbon fibre is good for creating upward streamers, wish we had kept our fibreglass rods now.

went & picked a bag of samphire instead, very important to educate people when picking not to up root the plant, just to cut some off, been picking the same bed for 10 years now & its spread to twice the size.
