Looked @ that site.

Very in depth, unfortunately far too technical for the likes of me...

Do not want to turn my mini maglite into a laser night sight!!!

However what I do need to do is tone down my other lamp... 1 million candlepower.

Somehow I would like to fit some sort of dimmer switch (don't want to pay ï¿½30 for one of the hunting ones). Looked @ RS & Maplin and got very confused.
Web search only brought up desk lamps!!!
I'm right in that a 12v dimmer would be OK on a 6v set-up....
Where would I get one from.... I'm sure someone with a 12v lighting set-up in their house would know....caravans perhaps....
Could have just answer my own question...

I was thinking more of modifying an airsoft minigun to .22 and then putting it in the back of the Micra However, I got nowhere with my hunt for a 6v dimmer.... Last try...would the dashboard dimmer switch from a car work....or am I likely to blow that up running such a big bulb Pete I have got to make this cheap as Whitelegg2 is (quite rightly) in charge of the fiances!!
