If you wanted to keep them in somewhere, you could thread them onto a string. Our council have installed bigger bins for them, but now you can't take the lid off and empty the bag in. You have to post them all individually! Oh well.....

My granddaughter has found another way to reuse bottles. According to my daughter it was supposed to be a (very easy-going) cat, though the filmer seems to think it was a dog. Of course it may be a whole new breed of animal. Not too expensive to feed, anyway!

Anybody that visits the Botanic Garden of Wales can view one there - unless it has been blown away recently.

All this assumes you use plastic bottles. We don't, except for milk bottles, so a bit limiting. Some of the ideas look good, but not sure about some of those boats.

Uh oh, no plastic bottles, crickey, you will drown without a plastic bottle boat... Thus I conclude that plastic bottles will save humanity...

Well ocean voyages have been made on balsa wood rafts and reed boats so why not.

Yup a transat was done in a plastic bottle boat. But then if you throw a bottle in the sea in the Canary islands, it will wash up in the Caribbean anyway.
